Always Stand For Truth - Ken Agyapong Tells Constituents

The embattled Member of Parliament for the Assin North constituency, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, over the weekend, visited his constituents and charged them to stand up for the truth but eschew the use of intemperate language during public discourse ahead of the December elections. Speaking to his constituents, Mr. Agyapong said �there is no need to use any intemperate language whenever you are speaking to anyone, an adult or a child. It is more profitable to speak in decent language when communicating�. The NPP Secretary for Assin North Constituency, Atakora Amaniapong who joined hundreds of NPP supporters to welcome Mr. Agyapong to the constituency in an interview with XYZ News said despite the lessons drawn from Mr. Kennedy�s experience, the youth of the NPP will still stand by the truth at all times. Meanwhile, Lawyers for Kennedy Agyapong are preparing their client for court tomorrow after he was granted bail last week. The MP was charged with treason, treason felony, attempted genocide and engaging in acts of terrorism. He was granted a GH�400,000 bail by the Fast Track High Court shortly after a Human Rights Court granted him bail on health grounds following a habeas corpus writ filed by his lawyers. The actual case is to be heard tomorrow as the state prosecutors are expected to review the charges leveled against the MP.
