Karbo Charge NPP Youth...

The National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Anthony Karbo has tasked the youth of the largest opposition political party in the country to make grassroot campaigning their primary target in the December polls. According to him, the NPP would unseat the non-performing National Democratic Congress (NDC) government led by President Mills in the crucial general elections later this year. In line with this, Karbo entreated the vibrant NPP youth across Ghana to channel their campaign activities down to the ordinary Ghanaian wherever they meet them. He was convinced that any person that would listen to the NPPs message for the 2012 polls would give his or her mandate to the largest opposition political party. Karbo advised the NPP youth against complacency and asked them to visit the nook and cranny of the country to preach the good works of the NPP. He said Ghanaians need to know the plans of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his quest to save them from the current state of hopelessness. Karbo said though the NDC had failed woefully since assuming political power, the NPP must vigorously campaign in order to reach out to more people to ensure victory. According to him, the NDCs declaration of jobs creation was a hoax because for majority of the youth of the country were jobless and face hardship currently. But this doesnt mean we should relax, he warned the NPP, urging the party, notably the youth to intensify their campaign activities so as to win more souls for the party. The NPP National Youth Organizer was addressing thousands of NPP youth that attended what could best be described as a mini rally organized by the Ashanti Regional NPP Youth last Friday. Karbo described the Ashanti region as the heartbeat of the NPP, stressing that the party, with an elephant as its symbol, was regarded by many as a religion in the region. He entreated the partys youth in the region to re-energize their campaign activities to the benefit of the party. Karbo commended the Ashanti Regional NPP Youth, led by its hard working leader, Gideon Boako for their extraordinary efforts which ensured the success of the registration exercise in the region. He encouraged them to emulate his shining example to help Nana Akufo-Addo secure a record number of votes in the region.
