Nana Addo Takes His 'Tour To Restore Hope To Upper East

Presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo and his running mate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia are in the Upper East Region for the Tour to Restore Hope which begins today. Prior to this, he had earlier toured the Northern Region for five days where a mammoth rally and a youth forum was held in Tamale. The NPP flagbearer charged the youth to be committed to the ideals of the party and to also render their unflinching support to help the party regain power from the NDC. At the well-patronized Tamale rally, the NPP flagbearer outlined his vision for the people of the Northern Region and vowed to rigously pursue a radical socio-economic transformation agenda to salvage the nation from her economic doldrums. According to him, if given the mandate come December 7, he will make good his promise of ensuring that Senior High School education is free. We begin with education because we have to prepare the youth for the future of Ghana....We want every single child in Ghana to have a secure quality education from Kindergarten right up to SHS, Nana Addo told the teeming NPP supporters. Nana Addo and his campaign team will be in the Upper East region for some five days.
