I Bonk My Wife - Omanhene

It is not uncommon for male celebrities to fall to the temptation of playing around with a few ladies and indeed a good number of celebrities have landed in trouble for their inability to control their flaps. But Alvin Yaw Adu Boakye aka Omanhene, morning show host of Kessben FM in Kumasi, has said he is not one of such male celebrities who play around with women. Omanhene, in an exclusive with NEWS-ONE, disclosed that several women had tried luring him into their beds when he was single but he did not fall to the temptation. The handsome radio presenter, a staunch Christian who worships with Trinity Temple of ICGC, Kumasi, stated that though he was single then, he managed to stand his ground by avoiding those women. The celebrated morning show host of the Garden City added that even after getting married, he still faced similar temptations but the only person he unleashed his libido on was his legally wedded wife, Maame Serwah Adu Boakye. The two have a one-year-old son, Kwame Barimma Gyem Adu. He said though he had tied the knot with his beautiful wife, some women did not care as they called his phone, trying to tempt him to cheat on his wife who he cherished and loved dearly. Omanhene disclosed that the women who used to harass him usually started by calling his mobile phone. According to him, after they got acquainted on phone, the women would scream, oh my God Omanhene, is that you. He said the ladies would continue by saying, Please I love your sweet voice on radio and I cannot wait to meet you in person, adding that some called at least five times a day. Omanhene, a staunch Christian who normally leads the worship in his church during Sundays service, said the rate at which women harassed him reduced drastically after he tied the knot with his beautiful wife in a flashy wedding ceremony two years ago. Omanhene emphasised that he had never cheated on his wife, promising to sustain the good behaviour till the almighty God called him to glory. Born to Gabriel Adu Boakye and Georgina Adu Boakye at Kotei near Kumasi, Omanhene had his basic education at Adventist Preparatory School and continued to the Anglican Secondary School in Kumasi. He then enrolled at the KNUST in Kumasi for his first degree and he later on did his Masters in Business Administration (MBA), specializing in strategic management and consultancy at the same university. Omanhene got into radio eight years ago after he had worked actively at Fontonfrom TV in Kumasi. His sudden rise to stardom didnt surprise many as he was said to be very vocal among his peers during his childhood days at Asafo in Kumasi. He started hosting the Kessben FM Morning Show programme dubbed Maakye, to wit good morning, when he filled in for Lawyer Ohene Gyan. Omanhene, who was then an English newscaster at the station, performed excellently on his first day as the host of the show and since then, he has not stopped shining. Omanhene, who is currently the programmes manager of Kessben FM, attributed his immense rise to fame to the Almighty God, his wife Maame Serwah, the Kessben FM family, notably Kwabena Kesse, owner of the station and his fans. He said he had aspirations of enrolling at the Ghana Law School any moment from now, disclosing that in future, he would open a modern consultancy firm in management. Omanhene, who is noted for his strictness whilst anchoring his programmes, said his dad told him to always say the truth even in the face of death, adding, Truth is bitter but it is best spoken. The Kessben FM morning show host said a segment of his programme, dubbed Food For Thought, where he picked a Bible quotation to share with his listeners, was the motivation that woke him up every morning to work. He praised his wife for her constant support and encouragement, and his mother-in-law for always taking care of his son whilst he and his wife worked. Omanhene confirmed that several radio stations in the Garden City had hopes of snatching him from Kessben FM, but he was quick to state, They are afraid to come forward because the one I am working for Mr. Kesse is fabulously rich. May be they think they cant match him.
