Busted For Drug Trafficking? A-Plus Fingers Ndc Activist

Controversial musician and comedian A-Plus has denied reports that he has been busted in the United States for allegedly possessing illegal drugs suspected to be cocaine. The grapevine was rife with the news on Tuesday that the musician had been arrested by New York police in a Bronx Hotel for trying to smuggle pellets of cocaine into the country. According to GhanaCelebrities.Com, which first published the story, it came across information on Facebook that read Another musician arrested for drugs in America This is an embarrassment to the entertainment industry. The website said its checks to ascertain the veracity of the reports yielded no friutful results as several calls placed to his phones didnt go through. What might have perhaps lend credence to the story was the report that since he left the country last Friday, it has been difficult to establish contact with him. But painstaking investigations by Peacefmonline reveal the story is a hoax. When Peacefmonline reached the musician on phone, he denied the report of his arrest. A clearly bemused A-Plus stated that he was in Pretoria, South Africa and wondered how US security agencies could bust him for drug trafficking. "Yes, i did go to the US but returned to Ghana some two weeks ago. I left for South Africa last Friday...i don't know where this report is coming from. I understand it was on Facebook...sometimes i tend not to place too much premium on things people say, but this is too much...i've a lot of respect for the media because we're partners in the entertainment industry so i try not to be too hard when a particular media outfit steps on my toes, but this has gone too far. You know, it's possible my mum or a close relative could have a heart attack upon hearing this piece of false news," he said.
