Jamaican Reggae super star Demarco who finally touched down on Ghanaian soil yesterday Thursday July 5, 2012 for the much publicized Samini host Demarco �I Love My Life� Concert, has graced the studios of Okay FM to announce his presence in the country. Demarco appeared on Okay FM�s drive time programme �Ekwanso brebre� hosted by Abeiku Santana, with host artistes Samini, supporting act Edem, and Highlife show stopper Rex Omar and sensational dancehall queen Kaakie. They all sang some of their songs and had freestyle sessions live on radio. They also spoke to their fans and promised Ghanaians a great show on Saturday July 7, 2012, when the real showdown will happen. Peacefmonline.com had an exclusive interview with Demarco and he said he can�t wait to meet Ghanaian ladies and his fans in Ghana. The �I Love My Life� hitmaker apologized for his inability to make it to Ghana last Saturday and promised Ghanaians even better show. Demarco told Peacefmonline.com that this is his first time in Ghana and Africa and he feels like he is home because the people in Ghana, the food, and everything else is just like his homeland Jamaica. The event organized by Phamous Media Group and LCA Ghana was originally scheduled for July 1 2012 in the Dome at the Accra International Conference; however it was postponed to Saturday July 7, 2012 at the same venue because the Jamaican singer missed his flight from America. The list of supporting artistes still remains the same. Other Ghanaian musicians expected to grace the stage with the two dancehall stars are highlife show stoppers Rex Omar and Kwabena Kwabena. Hip hop/Hip life stage rockers Tinny, Asem, Edem, Kaaki, Jupiter, Nsemkwa (Yaa Pono), Myron AK etc. Eazzy is billed to hit the stage for the first time since she got back from the Big Brother Stargame house in South Africa. A top Nigerian music star would be announced the surprise act on the night. The Concert which targets all class of people for its diverse selection of highly sought-after artists will be hosted by Abeiku Santana of Okay FM. According to the organizers tickets sold already are still valid for the new date.
