Ghana Association of Women Entrepreneurs To Award Female Celebs

The Ghana Association of Women Entreprenuers (GAWE) has disclosed that it would be awarding hard working female celebrities at the 18th WASME International Conference scheduled for later this year at the Mensvic Grand Hotel. In a chat with the President of GAWE Mrs. Lucia Quachey, she indicated that GAWE which is the host for this year�s event on behalf of the World Association of Small Medium Enterprises (WASME) is into the art of craving for economic solutions for women entrepreneurs in Ghana and the world at large. She added that as part of their 18th WASME INTERNATIONAL CONFAB coming off at Mensvic Grand Hotel at East Legon later this year a lineup of hard working female celebrities have being identified and will be rewarded. She said �GAWE has been organizing this conference for the past 17years and every year the association seeks to reward all hard working women in business from entertainment through to business hence this as this year�s theme stands: �Empowering Women through Entrepreneurship: Issues, Opportunities and Approaches� with the objective to enhance awareness and create a more informed understanding on the opportunities, issues, and approaches to entrepreneurial activities for Women Empowerment. �We believe these women are in business building a career in this art industry which is mostly dominated by men is no joke hence GAWE wants to say thumbs up to them for all their hard work and challenge them as well as the rest of the women world out there that the is a need to be strong economically too�, Mrs. Lucia Quachey added. Even though she did not disclose the names of the celebrities to be rewarded, she stated that in a few weeks to the conference, there will be a detailed list out to the press but for now her organization is on the lookout for hard working women entrepreneurs. The 18th WASME INTERNATIONAL CONFAB is open to the general public for participation and for those small scale businesses that are into made in Ghana goods; there is a space for exhibition.
