Sherifatu Shines At German Carnival

Ghanaian energetic superstar Sherifatu Gunu got an invitation from FRAGODA Team (Ghana Carnival Club ) to parade her songs and perform at the world-famous Berlin International Summer carnival which is celebrated from 25th - 28th May every year to which the female musician stole the show at the high-profile carnival. Sherifa's, performance opened the spectacular carnival parade for the Ghanaian community. Shaking her hips in a plunging, low-cut kente cloth, the Northerner soon had the crowd on their feet and later invited the Ghana Ambassador to join her on stage. Rocking the festival; Sherifatu performed all her hit songs including her azonto, traditional and African pop songs. She managed to move most of the crowd to the Ghana truck. The crowd might have been there to watch other countries too but African Pop artiste, Sherifatu certainly gave people something else to think and talk about. Among those enjoying Sherifa's performance at the carnival was Berlin's Minister and other top dignitaries. She did the Adua, Agbaga, Damba and some frafra dance while she singing 'Bingo' one of her latest song. Ghana's well decorated truck and heavy parked crowd went wild with songs from Castro, Atumpan, Obour, Sarkodie, VIP, Waita, Stay Jay and more during the parade and exhibition. This year's carnival saw 1.8 million visitors all over Europe attending to which Sherifa had the chance to perform to. The Germans that joined the Ghanaians in the parade were clad in Kente clothes. Touching on the tourism side, Fati further went on to say that �The Ambassador is so much impressed over the show and has encouraged us to keep it up. This can be an economic success for Ghana through tourism. One German lady now called sister Afia, said she could not live without highlife music. The event is organized by the Werkstatt der Kulturen, which is a reflection of Berlin�s cultural diversity. About 90 band�s with 4,500 paraders from over 90 countries danced through the streets of Berlin.
