Tourism Industry To Rake In More Profit During Mils� Funeral

Players in the tourism sector are expecting to rake in some revenue during the funeral for the late president Mills. Some international dignitaries and other high profiled personalities will grace the occasion for the burial of the late president from August 8 to 10. Speaking in an interview with Gold Business Report, Public Relations Manager at the Ghana Tourism Authority, Ben Ohene Aryeh explained that the event will be an avenue for various sectors of the tourism industry to maximize profit. He indicated that the guests who represent various heads of state will patronize the tourism sector leaving behind money in the economy as Ghana is noted for its hospitality to foreigners and tourist in general. Mr. Ben Ohene Aryeh also noted that �for the few days that they will be spending in Ghana, our hotels, transport systems, restaurants and markets will benefit in terms of patronage of their goods and services�.
