Samsung Week Community Soccer Gala Is On Tomorrow

The Samsung Week celebration on Friday September 21, 2012 will treat enthusiasts in Ghana to an exciting day of soccer competitions at the Lizzy Sports Complex in Accra. The gala, to be played by eight select teams drawn from various sports clubs is Accra, is open to the public and will kick off at 7:00am. In recognition of Ghana�s immense affinity for the game of football, Samsung planned the activity to bring its consumers and the general community together to foster networking and stronger relations for community development. Participating teams include: Awudome Keep Fit Club, The Best Club, Travel Xpress, Ahoden Club, Superstars, Happy FM, Sports Callers Association, and Mobile Parliamentarians Club. �We are very much excited to join the rest of Ghana in celebrating the Samsung brand and Africa�s first love - soccer, on one platform. By this activity we hope to harness the uniting spirit of soccer to rally our community for development,� said Richard Nunekpeku, Marketing Manager, Samsung Ghana. The community soccer day is the penultimate activity for the week, to be followed by the African Legend Hugh Masakela Concert on Saturday, September 22 at the Banquet Hall in Accra. Spectators at the game will be treated to great music throughout the day, and will also benefit from the networking opportunity. The games are expected to last till 5:00pm.
