Prez Mahama Warned

The President of the Pentecostal Council and Coordinator of the Network of Churches in the Western region, Bishop Emmanuel Botwe, has admonished President John Mahama to be mindful of bootlickers in his administration. He urged the president to always make it a point to seek the face of God for directions at all times. We are aware that combining political party and State leadership is very challenging because you are surrounded by people with all traits of character, ambitions and motives. Obviously, some with personal agenda, some bootlickers and even some people in your party who will like to dictate to you as how to rule and govern the nation, according to their whims and caprices, Bishop Botwe said. We humbly urge you to seek good and spiritual counsel which will help you make the right decisions Seek good and wise Godly counsel. Seek our prayers and blessings, we ask the Almighty God to give you discernment of peoples intentions and motives so that youll be able to silt the chaff from the wheat so that your leadership for the nation will be one of the best for the Lord to fulfill his purpose for Ghana. President Mahama is on a five-day campaign tour of the Western region. He assured the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government would revamp the countrys rail transport to reduce the burden on road transport which has manifested in traffic congestion. He said the revamping of the railways would also facilitate the haulage of minerals, food and cash crops from the farming communities to marketing centres. Mahama said government has already awarded the contract for the revival of the railway sector in the region.
