Scores of young men and women Tuesday morning in Ho engaged in scrambles and scuffles over �T� shirts of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The youth as early as 0600 hours besieged the Campaign Office of the (NPP) in Ho making loud noises in anticipation of the arrival of Nana Addo. While they waited impatiently, the youth, about 100 took over the Assemblies of God-Stadium Road and moved from one end of the Road to the other jostling Party officials for NPP souvenirs.
A man and a woman engaged in strong verbal exchanges as both failed in a struggle to secure a �T� shirt.
Few others expressed frustration in their inability to secure �T� shirts and other party paraphernalia. Some who managed to get the souvenirs decorated their private and commercial vehicles and paraded the Ho Township all day.
The town came alive around 0800 hours as motor riders rode through the town announcing the arrival of Nana Akufo-Addo. He is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Togbe Afede XIV, Agbogbomefia of Asogli, address a colloquium at Ho Polytechnic and move to Dzodze in the Ketu-North District to address a rally.
