Nana Perbi And Friends Thrill Fans

The lovely township of Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana was last Saturday literally turned upside down when Nana Perbi and Friends staged a peace concert to entertain music fans. It was an awesome night in the history of the Eastern Region. The programme which was under the auspices of His Majesty Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin, the Okyenhene was aimed at whipping up the need for Ghanaians to live in peace especially before, during and after the December general elections. The concert brought together the regional commander of police, ministers, MPs, aspiring MPs, clergy of all faiths, chiefs and the general public as one people to celebrate with Nana Perbi and Friends. Vine Praise opened the show with an awesome entry after which the peace Ambassador, Nana Perbi raised the bar to another level with Zulu Praise, keeping the crowd on their feet in merry. Stella Seal and Uncle Ato placed the icing on the cake after that thrilling performance by Nana. The crowd could not help but dance throughout the event, which travelled beyond its expected duration of five hours to seven hours, as the crowed asked for more. There were prayers said for peace in the upcoming election, while people received healing amidst the celebration, which was interspersed with peace messages. Officials of the Electoral Commission were also present to educate the public on the dos and donts of the upcoming elections. It was indeed an unforgettable night in the music history of the Eastern Region.
