We Know What To Do To Win Ghana U-20 Captain

Ghana U-20 captain Lawrence Lartey says the side is very well aware of things to do to ensure success at the African Youth Championships. The Black Satellites have been drawn alongside tournament hosts Algeria, Benin and Egypt. The team will be looking to regain the spark that saw it emerge African and World champions in 2009 when the competition kicks off in March next year. The side failed miserably at the last championships and must atone for their woeful display in South Africa. And though faced with a difficult task of progressing beyond Group A, Lartey remains adamant his team is aware of what is needed to guarantee success In this case, no one has to tell you what you have to do, we know it ourselves, he said. So it is left for us to prepare very well to ensure we do well in Algeria. Ghana will be making its ninth appearance at the championships which it has won on three occasions (1993, 1999 and 2009).
