Evergreen gospel musician, Abena Amponsah, of the hit �Woye Mame� fame, may have gone into hibernation for some time now, but she was definitely not out of the game.
Apparently she was preparing for a mega return! Indeed, if what made a good gospel musician was judged from the number of times an artiste
releases one album after the other, then Abena may have been left of the equation because she has not been heard for a while.
But since that is not the determinant, Abena could still go all out soaring sky-high and release more motivational songs at reasonable intervals. The Ghana music industry and its enthusiasts are only but ready for good works at any point in time.
Once a record is good, it is simply un-ignorable! And that is exactly the greeting Abena receives anytime she drops an album or song. Now, here is the latest good news from the good-old phenomenal singer. She is back. Yes, back, with another inspirational album!
The album is replete with great worship numbers. The album is titled He Deserves Thanks and produced by Mr. Charles Sarpong, of the renowned Cebex Music Productions at Katamanto in Accra.
There are 10 tracks in all on the album, but most worship songs. At least, seven of the songs are worship-driven, that drowns the individual gospel enthusiast into the mood of praising God anytime the album is slotted into a CD/cassette player.
They include such songs as the title track He Deserves Thanks, Medo Wo, Onyame Do, Onyame Beba, Madi Meho, Medaa na Mada and a remix version of the hit Woye Mame, making the worship songs.
The rest are I Have a Reason, Edin No and Obe Ye, forming the praise numbers. Copies of the album distributed by Cebex Music Productions will be procured from all respectable CD/cassette shop across the country.
