Renowned Ghanaian Movie Producer and CEO of Venus Film Production celebrated his birthday last Sunday February 3, 2013, with a few close friends and family at a private party inside Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra. Present to celebrate his special day were beautiful actress Jackie Appiah, actor Kofi Adjorlolo, Director Frank Rajah, costumier Samira Yakubu, Alhaji Abdul Sallam�s wife and few family and friends. Abdul Sallam has been an influential movie Producer from the early 2000s till date. His first films, which brought attention back to the film industry in Ghana, were �Divine Love� and �God Loves Prostitutes�, which starred Nollywood stars Genevieve Nnaji, Peter Bruno and Ghana stars such as the late Suzzy Williams, Nana Ama McBrown among others. Salam�s Venus Film Production is responsible for the discovery of the likes of Van Vicker, Jackie Appiah, Majid Michel, Nadia Buari, Frank Atus, Eddie Watson, and a host of emerging others. Among his very popular movies are; Beyonce, Return of Beyonce, Mummys Daughter, Wedlock of the Gods, Darkness of Sorrow, My Mothers Heart, Divine Love, Heart of Men, The Game, 4play, Chelsea, Groom's Bride, Single Six, Pool Party and several more.
