Peacefmonline.com can confirm that fire has gutted Abena Ateaa Towers which belongs to former Black Stars defender Sammy Osei Kuffuor at circle early Tuesday morning.
Officials of the Ghana National Service have been fighting the fire for close to three hours.
An eyewitness told Peacefmonline.com that the cause of the fire might be from an electrical problem.
�I will suspect the power outage. The fire started on the 4th floor which houses NIIT and Sikkim Manipal University.
�Thanks to the fire service for their early involvement, the whole building would have been set ablaze, � he told Peacefmonline.com�s King Edward Ambrose Washman Addo.
The story building houses Access bank, Sikkim Manipal University (SMU), NIIT and the Academic City.
Meanwhile officials of the National Fire Service are yet to ascertain the cause of the fire as they are still fighting to bring the fire under control.
