Im Very Disappointed for Not Winning the Trophy - Sellas Tetteh

Ghana U-20 head coach, Sellas Tetteh has expressed worry and disappointment for his inability to lift the African Youth Championship for the second time when the Satellites lost the trophy to the Young Pharaohs of Egypt. The Young Pharaohs defeated heavyweights Ghana 5-4 on penalties following a 1-1 draw on Saturday to clinch the title with an unbeaten record in the just ended tournament which was staged in Algeria. Speaking to the media, coach Bobovic said his dream was to win the ultimate but was unfortunate, though his players exhibited an extraordinary performance in the finals. I am a little bit disappointed, but that is football for you, when the good Lord decides, you cant do anything about it. We showed good football to the world. Both teams showed good football, quality football, we marketed Africa very well. The final was watched all over the world and we (Ghana and Egypt) marketed African youth football very well but one team has to win so we accept that and have to work hard another time. We just finished the game so we have to think about so many things. We (the Satellites) are thwarted that we disappointed Ghana. We did our best but our best wasnt enough to bring joy to the nation. Better still, there is more ahead of us so we will keep on working very hard. You will never know because in football there are so many surprises, he said. Egypt clinched a late 2-1 victory over Ghana in the tournaments opener after being outplayed for much of the game and salvaged a 1-1 draw against the same opposition after surviving several scares in the finale before winning on penalties.
