Michael Jackson's Daughter Reunited With Birth Mother

PARIS Jackson has been reunited with her mother after 14 years apart. Michael Jacksons daughter spent her 15th birthday on Wednesday with her birth mother Debbie Rowe who signed away all parental rights when she split with the singer. A source close to the family said: The two just hung out. Theyve gotten really tight. Debbie wed the King of Pop in November 1996, three months before the birth of their son Prince, now 16, and Paris was born just over a year later. The pair divorced in 1999 when Paris was one and Debbie signed custody over to the singer as part of her 6.5 million deal. But Debbie has been back in touch with her teenage daughter on a few occasions since Michaels death from an overdose in 2009. And friends say she wants to keep their meetings under wraps, so she is not seen as exploiting the rekindled relationship. In Martin Bashirs 2003 documentary on Jacko, she admitted that she had entered into the pregnancy as a business deal. She said: My kids dont call me Mom because I dont want them to. Theyre Michaels children. Its not that they are not my children, but I had them because I wanted him to be a father. People make remarks, I cant believe she left her children. Left them? I left my children? I did not leave my children. My children are with their father, where they are supposed to be. I didnt do it to be a mother... If he called me tonight and said lets have five more [children], Id do it in a heartbeat. Michaels mother was named legal guardian of all three of the superstars children following his death.
