Lawyer for the 2012 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo has described as a hoax, Justice Francis Kpegah�s promise of a �Thriller in Manila� court case. Former Supreme Court Judge, Justice Kpegah on Tuesday failed to turn up in court for the hearing of the writ he filed against Nana Akufo-Addo accussing him of impersonation and for illegally holding himself as a Lawyer. In an interview, he however explained that his absence was due to health considerations as he had to see his consultant for review. He promised to personally be in court on May 2. Nana Addo's lawyer, Godfred Dame maintained in an interview with Citi News that �his [Justice Kpegah] so called �Thriller in Manila� is nothing but a hoax.� According to him, the absence of the former Supreme Court Judge was �incomprehensible, very shocking to us. I think it is worthy to note that indeed the court room is not a drama studio and neither is it an Apollo theatre for Justice Kpegah to say what he terms as �Thriller in Manila�.� Lawyer Dame also noted that the application for summary judgment which was later filed by Justice Kpegah has been fixed for May 9 and �that application has nothing to do whatsoever with our application and the ruling on our application has been fixed for 2nd May� that ruling will dispose off the whole suit.�
