Ghana's banana industry will now become more competitive in the global market with the injection of seven million two hundred and forty thousand Euros.
It is hoped that the support will also greatly improve the livelihood of banana growers with the construction of a three hundred housing Unit for growers.
The European Union (EU) is providing the support and has signed a financing agreement with the government of Ghana to that effect.
