I Dont Understand People Who Have Problems With Tsikatas Cross Examination Alfred Ogbamey

The Managing Editor of the Gye Nyame Concord newspaper, Alfred Ogbamey, has described the pace of the on-going proceedings at the Supreme Court as so far so good, but stated his inability to understand those who seem to have a problem with the cross examination style of Tsatsu Tsikata, the lead counsel of the third respondent. You cannot take a case to court and expect that counsel on the other side would behave according to your whims and caprices. Ato Ahwoi said sometime back that, if Hearts and Kotoko are scheduled for a football match and you hear Hearts pointing to the goalkeeper Kotoko must bring, then you should know your opponent is making the wrong choice for you because certainly he would not wish you well, he argued. According to the Alfred Ogbamey, court room cases do not bring the kind of drama that could be considered as excitement and solely has to do with the law which may not sound familiar. Alfred Ogbamey on Asempa FM made this observation in the midst of public outcry for a fast track hearing of the petition, brought before the Supreme Court by three individuals challenging the validity of the 2012 election results. Tsatsu Tsikata has also been heavily criticized by many ardent followers of the live telecast of the Supreme Court proceedings, for what seems to be a deliberate attempt to unduly delay the case and most especially for his recent move to bring into the dock three other witnesses. However, the Managing Editor of the Gye Nyame Concord Newspaper was of the view that the Judges approval of Tsatsu Tsikatas request with respect to the three new witnesses is an indication that the lawyer for the third respondent has not broken the law with his style of cross examination. He therefore could not understand fuss that Lawyer Tsikatas cross examination of Dr. Bawumia and his demands have been greeted with.
