Deputy minister for Youth and Sports, Joseph Yamin has described the NDC as a formidable electoral winning machine which is above the act of deploying rigging tactics before it may eventually overcome the New Patriotic Party in any organized elections. Speaking on Okay FM, Joseph Yamin maintained that as regional secretary for the National Democratic Congress in the Ashanti Region which happens to be the stronghold of the NPP, his party focused on �painting a new image for the party� and �propagating their message through a new approach�. The above systematic approach according to Mr. Yamin, won the elections for NDC elections and augmented their votes in their opponent�s stronghold. �We don�t deserve to rig an election before winning the NPP in an organized election. We never attempted rigging the 2008 general elections, but we eventually won�, he said.
