Arsenal Starlet Zak Ansah Snubbed By Ghana U-20

Arsenal starlet Zak Ansah has been dropped from the Ghana U20 squad for the upcoming FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey, Ghana Sports can confirmed. The 18-year-old flew down from North London to train with the Black Satellites but he failed to convince Sellas Tetteh he is worth a place in the team. Ansah had presented England at U16 and U17 but decided to switch his nationality to play for the West African country. However, Sellas Tetteh's squad announced the attacker has been dropped along with Atletico Madrid youngster Thomas Partey, Rayo Vallecano's Anthony Manison and locals Jacob Apau-Asiedu and Derrick Mensah. The quintet will not be travelling to Italy with the team where they will begin preparations for the tournament. Anderlecht team B winger Frank Acheampong and Chelsea reserves captain Daniel Pappoe Mills are the only foreign-based starlets who will travel with the team. Baba Abdul Rahman and Richmond Boakye-Yiadom who are with the Black Stars will join the team later. Italy-based Alfred Duncan will also link up with the squad.
