After years of rumours, the world finally found out over the weekend that indeed socialite and PR-manager, Akosua Puni is indeed married to Ghanaian star footballer, Michael Essien.
Although the most obvious revelation came when UK-based Congolese comedian, Eddie Kadi referred to her as Akosua Puni-Essien, guests at the Game of Hope and Inspiration banquet had an even more convincing confirmation.
Akosua Puni made sure the guests knew she was the Mrs when she signed a welcome message in the event brochure as �Akosua Puni-Essien�.
