The long road to landing two remaining Premier League places begins on Wednesday for four Division One sides. With Inter Allies having secured qualification in earnest, the competition is now getting started for teams from Zone 1 and 2, desirous of elite football. Eight teams - Gold Stars, Tarkwa Utd, Hasaacas, Eleven Wise, Guan Utd, Yassin, Bechem and B.A. Utd - will be involved in the play-offs which will decide the two available promotion spots. Guan Utd and Yassin will get the action underway in Zone 1 where former premiership campaigners Bechem and B.A. Utd will also be involved in the competition. The Zone 2 fixtures will get underway on June 26. Following a remarkable season, Hasaacas' hopes of a return to the Premier League will be tested on the first day of the play-offs at the Accra Sports Stadium where the clash with rivals, Eleven Wise. Gold Stars will play Tarkwa Utd at the Tema Stadium in the other fixture.
