Chelsea youth captain Daniel Pappoe has been ruled out of this month�s FIFA U-20 World Youth Championship in Turkey with a late, late injury setback. Pappo, 19, picked up a knee injury during their training tour of Switzerland and has failed to recover in time for the start of the tournament on Friday. Ghanaian officials have confirmed the Chelsea reserve stalwart will fly to London on Wednesday to see his doctors for further assessment. �It�s a big blow because Daniel Pappoe has failed to recover from an injury and so he will not be involved in this tournament,� Black Satellites management committee member Alhaji Souleymane Braimah told Happy FM �Luckily for us FIFA has agreed for us to change him. He (Pappoe) will fly to London to see his doctors. �It�s unfortunate but injuries are part of the game. Thankfully we have a replacement and we are looking forward to the competition. The Black Satellites will open their account with a tricky tie against France on Friday.
