Samuel Inkoom Delightful for the Ayews Return to The Black Stars

Ghana and Bastia defender, Samuel Inkoom has expressed joy to have his former U-20 team mate and captain, Andre Ayew and younger brother Jordan Ayew back into the Senior National team after their premature retirement. According to him, the return of the Ayews will one way or the other boost the morale of the teams preparation to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil as well as bring unity among the squad. Dede Ayew and Jordan Ayews return, we are all happy to have them back in the team. The reason is we are all serving mother Ghana. If we start complaining about their return, that will not help and it will not bring unity among we the players. they (Ayew brothers) know what they are supposed to do to help the team to qualify. I always say anyone with a Ghanaian passport is eligible to play for the black stars, he said. Midfielder Andre and Jordan Ayew rescinded their decision to retire from the Black Stars after a crisis meeting with Ghana President John Dramani Mahama. The Marseille duo agreed to immediately call off their international retirement after their four-month absence from the national team following the meeting at the Flagstaff House, the seat of government, in Accra. It emerged during the meeting that the Marseille duo first met the President during his recent visit to France where they spoke about their premature retirement from the national team. This means the two players will be available for selection for Coach Kwesi Appiah after they opted out of the national team for various reasons. But speaking to Peace FMs PEACE POWER SPORTS, the former World U-20 champion, Samuel Inkoom called on loving soccer fans to embrace the return of the Marseille duo and cease from lambasting them on social networks and in the media. We should all support the Ayew brothers. It doesnt matter who played for the qualifiers and who will be selected to play in the grand finale of the World Cup. That wouldnt help. Its my wish that such comments will be ceased. I am pleading with all Ghanaians, we should all help promote Ghana sports, he advised.
