Congratulate The Boys No Matter The Results Sellas Tetteh

Ghana Under-20 Head Coach, Sellas Tetteh aka Bobovic has urged soccer fanatics to show appreciation to his players for their outstanding performance displayed in the ongoing FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Turkey. He believes its a tremendous process to have seen the team qualify from the uncertain group stage to the final four of the competition. After losing for the second time to France who beat Ghana in the opening Group A match by 3-1 and managed to conquest the Satellites again by 2-1 in the semi-final , Sellas insist that his side improved their game in the semi-final clash but was not enough to have won. It was a game of a two halves, the first half, the France team dominated and we (Ghana) also dominated the second half. As the matter of fact, the result doesnt reflect the kind of performance the Ghanaian team showed. In football that is how it is sometimes. It is a professional attitude that at least no matter what the results, we have to congratulate them (players) then later try to let them know what they should have done. At this moment we have to congratulate them. They have a third place to fight for. That is how the game is, he told journalists. The Black Satellites, World Cup winners in 2009 suffered a 2-1 defeat in their match against France in Bursa, ending their hopes of a fourth appearance in the finals. The Satellites will meet Iraq in the third-place match at the FIFA U-20 World Cup after either side lost in the semi-final of the competition on Wednesday.
