Kwabena Kwabena Advocates For Peace Ahead of Supreme Court Ruling

The Supreme Court of Ghana will be receiving written address by the parties in the election petition case tomorrow, 30th of July, 2013. That process signifies a possible end to one of the biggest, if not the biggest, legal case ever heard in Ghana. Various organizations and leading individuals have called for peace after the Supreme Court announces judgment. One such individual is Kwabena Kwabena, the award winning Highlife artitse. In an interview with Kojo Akoto Boateng on Kumasi-based Ultimate Radio, the respected musician called for all Ghanaians to abide by the Supreme Court ruling to ensure the peace of the nation is protected. He was eulogizing homage to the late President, Prof. Atta Mills, when he made the call. In times like this when the Supreme Court hearing is over and we are talking about peace, one thing I remember about him (Prof. Mills) is medze me p3 asomdwoe. I think we all need to remember that about him and abide by the Supreme Court ruling and make sure Ghana has peace. That will be a great memory for him. Prof. John Evans Atta Mills died on July 24 2012. Kwabena Kwabenas latest song, Adult Music, of the Daakye album is gradually becoming the song to listen to.
