VIP Signs New Act Stranjah For GH 100, 000

Nima based award winning Hiplife trio VIP has signed former F.O.I member Stranjah , to their BDN (Boggie Down Nima) Records, in a deal worth a hundred thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 100,000). The five-year deal also comes with a Toyota Camry, and suitable apartment. Stranjah, formerly known as Double Eye, was one-half of the group, F.O.I (Fruits Of Inspiration) which was discovered and mentored by VIP. However, with F.O.I member, LilKryz now pursuing education in the USA, Double Eye had to continue his music career by reinventing himself as Stranjah. We have observed him for a while now and believe he has the potential and talent to shine in this industry and that made it easy to sign him, Promzy, a member of the award-winning group said. He is almost always on time, listens to advice, stays up late for recording sessions and we think thats the character we need in an artist who is going to represent BDN as a label in this music business. VIP member, Zeal hinted that Stanjah has always been part of the music collective and they hope that the new deal will help project his talent as a rapper and singer to Ghana and the rest of the world. He hinted that BDN Records hope to discover more new talents from not only within Nima but across Ghana. Stanjah on his part, said he was happy about the deal and added that he is ready to show the world his talent as a solo artist and to make his BDN family proud. He hinted that his first single, Wa Tricki Wo, which was produced by Nshorna Music would be released next week, followed by the release of a music videolater in the month.
