The first Vice-Chairman of the Ashanti region New Patriotic Party (NPP,) Kwabena Ebo, also known as Senkyire, has revealed that his constant quarrels with the Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia North, Collins Owusu Amankwah, is as a result of the latter�s disrespect for Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh aka Napo. His failure to explain what actions by Mr. Owusu Amankwah constituted disrespect towards his colleague, Dr. Opoku Prempeh has created lots of brouhaha in the Manhyia North constituency. Mr. Senkyire, who has lost much respect from his party men in the constituency due to his alleged open campaign against the sitting MP, has been known to detest the young MP. The NPP first vice chairman claimed on Accra-based Adom FM that the Mr. Owusu-Amankwah�s disrespect for Dr. Opoku-Prempeh is the reason for the hatred against him. �He doesn�t respect Napo�,� he burst out on the station last Tuesday morning. This outburst has led to the emergence of numerous questions among constituents who seek to know if Dr. Opoku-Prempeh was behind the hatred for the sitting MP, a question which Mr. Senkyire is yet to answer. Hon. Owusu Amankwah was not happy that Mr. Senkyire together with some party members did things that had the potential of disintegrating the party. �The very acts of Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe and Wereko-Brobby which we are all condemning are the same things he [Mr. Senkyire] and his cohorts are doing here and it is equally condemnable,� he stated.
