Nana Addos Congratulatory Message To Prez Mahama Is Foolishness To Me

Founder and Leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor, flared upon hearing the 2012 flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo sent a congratulatory message to President John Dramani Mahama moments after the Supreme Court ruled on the election petition that he (Mahama) was validly elected by Ghanaians as declared by the Electoral Commission (EC) in December. According to the outspoken farmer turned politician, its unpardonable for the NPP to have in the first place tagged President Mahama and his administration as thieves who have been elected into power by another criminal, (the EC boss, Dr. Afari Gyan). She wondered how the NPP could blame the EC Boss for declaring President Mahama as winner of the 2012 elections when the same Dr Kwadwo Afari-Gyan rightfully pronounced President John Agyekum Kuffuor as winner of the 2000 and 2004 elections. Its unbelievable how the NPP and Nana Addo are challenging Afari Gyanwas he (Afari Gyan) not the same person who elected Ex-Prez Kufour? Nana Addo conceding defeat and congratulating President Mahama is foolishness to me (Akua Donkor). Was he (Nana Addo) not the same person who called him (Prez Mahama) a thief? she questioned Adding that, The NPP party is a disgrace to this nation (Ghana). And all those arguing about the outcome of the verdict are shameful NPP members. After almost nine months of historical legal battle by the NPP, NDC and EC and the President (Mahama) at the apex court to seek explanation of Mr. Mahamas declaration as the President came to end on August 29, 2013 when the nine-panel judges hearing the petition case declared Mr. John Dramani Mahama as the valid President of 2012 presidential election. Speaking on an Accra-based Montie FM, Madam Akua Donkor was certain that her solemn intercessional prayers helped President Mahama to win the court verdict. I will personally call His Excellency the President to congratulate him. My prayers helped him a lot. God chose President Mahama for us (Ghanaians). I will organize a thanksgiving service on behalf of President Mahama, she noted.
