Newly elected president of the Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG), Asare Hackman of Hacky Films fame has officially appointed Socrates Sarfo as his spokesperson.
Socrates, chief executive of Movie Africa Productions, was hitherto the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for FIPAG
Speaking on Peace FM�s Entertainment Review show, Mr Hackman stated that there was none better to be his spokesperson than Socrates Sarfo, since he was well-versed in the affairs of the association.
�I have given Socrates a new post. For now he is a presidential spokesperson for FIPAG,� Mr Hackman said.
Hacky as he is popularly called, was immediately sworn into office after he literally floored Idikoko at the polls with an 84 against 42 votes last Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Socrates Sarfo who was initially accused of being the chief campaign manager for Hacky to overthrow Idikoko was very excited about his new post and pledged to work diligently for the new president.
�I can assure you that as the spokesperson I will always be there to answer questions regarding this new administration but I�m not a PRO, I just speak for the president,� the renowned Movie Director and producer, Socrates, pledged.
