Touted as the African Oscars � Nollywood & African Film Critics Awards (NAFCA) winners were announced on September 14 at a red-carpet event at the legendary Warner Theatre in Washington D.C. The prestigious African Oscars -NAFCA are presented by Nollywood & African Film Critics USA. Ghana�s Jackie Appiah picked up the award for Best Actress in a leading role beating Beverly Naya, Iretiola Doyle, Mbufung Seikeh, and Genevieve Nnaji. �Turning Point� which features Jackie Appiah was also one of the big winners of the night picking multiple awards.
