A leading member of the New Patriotic Party, Kwabena Sarpong has called on the party leadership and members not to elect leaders for personal gains. He detested the culture in the NPP where members profess their interest in a particular candidate to head an office without assessing their potentials. According to him, the members should rather ensure that they have particularly assessed the capacity and qualities of the candidates before electing them. Speaking on Oman FM on Wednesday, Mr. Kwabena Sarpong further urged them to avoid divisions in their choice of a suitable candidate. �Let�s stop taking sides in the party but look at the capacity of those people coming; the General Secretary, Organizer, Chairman, Women Organizer. Let�s assess their capacity, their qualities, the positive aspect of them and vote for them.�
