A former National Youth Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Anthony Abayefa Karbo says the National Democratic Congress (NDC) cunningly lured Ghanaians with its adopted slogan �Edey Be K3K3� in the 2012 polls just to lead them into adversity. According to him, the Mahama led administration has done �absolutely� nothing to at least ease the hardship Ghanaians suffered under late Prof Mills� administration. Karbo was reacting to the recent tariff increment which has led to a shoot up of �pure water� price and electricity bills. He has threatened to gather the masses to demonstrate against the new tariffs increment though. The Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) last Wednesday announced a 52 percent increment in water and 78.9 percent increment in electricity tariffs effective October 1. Speaking on Adom FM, Anthony Karbo is of view that, irrespective of Ghanaian�s political party affiliation, and those chanting the �Edey Be K3K3� slogan, the new tariff will be uncomfortable to all except NDC bigwigs who are comfortably basking in the pleasures of ill-gotten gain.
