Armed Military Men And Police Guard Baba YaraFor Ghana/Egypt Clash

Armed Military men and police will provide a 24-hour-a-day security at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, venue for Ghana/Egypt 2014 World Cup eliminator. This new security arrangement would take place weeks before the Black Stars host Egypt in the first leg of the crucial encounter. Saka Acquaye, the Ashanti Regional Sports Director, who made the announcement, said the move was to help protect gadgets and equipment including the generators at the stadium. Speaking on Angel FM, he said they did not want to take any chances; hence the strong need for the country to boost security network at the stadium. He said the stadium had been closed to the public even two weeks before the two powerhouses on the continent lock horns at the Baba Yara Stadium. Mr. Acquaye explained that the stadium would be locked to also prevent enemies of Ghana from planting black magic substances at the stadium which could bring bad luck to Ghana. According to him, the stadium authorities would engage car towing services to tow all damaged cars parked at the premises of the stadium before the game. Mr. Acquaye said his outfit wanted to ensure that the stadium and its entire surroundings were in good condition to host the cracker between Ghana and Egypt on October 15.
