Razak Brimah: Black Stars Future Bright Despite Being Dropped For Egypt Clash

The CD Guadalajara goalkeeper is very confident of returning to the Ghana set-up after just a short stint with the Black Stars. CD Guadalajara goalkeeper Razak Brimah says he is not bothered about being dropped from the Ghana squad that will take on Egypt in the 2014 World Cup qualifying playoff. The 26-year-old was recently invited to be assessed by the technical team. He put up a great show on his debut when he appeared in the second half against Turkey and got a full game in the recent friendly with Japan. But coach Kwesi Appiah decided to drop the former Nania Fc goalkeeper to make way for veteran goalkeeper, Richard Kingson. That is football and Im ok the most important thing is to support the players who got the call up to beat Egypt so we can look forward to the World Cup. For me I just have to continue working hard and Im 100 percent sure that one day I will be the Black Stars number one goalkeeper, Brimah told Accra based, Joy FM. Not earning a call up will not put me down but rather will edge me on to work hard so I will be look at again in the next call up. Brimah was also part of the team that beat Zambia in Kumasi to qualify to the final stage of the WC qualifiers.
