The Ghana Football Association has written to Fifa to request for a change in venue from Cairo due to the political instability in Africa�s biggest city. The Ghana FA has officially written to the world�s football governing body, Fifa to request for a change in venue for the second leg World Cup play-off against Egypt in Cairo. The two African giants are scheduled to clash in Cairo on November 19 after the first leg in Kumasi on October 15. But the Ghana FA is worried about the security problems in Egypt and has not hesitated in making their concerns known to Fifa. In the letter, the Ghana FA noted that the fast deteriorating security situation is a big bother. It also pointed out that Egyptians have for the past two years played matches in empty stadiums but have quickly amended that to allow fans into the Air Defence Stadium on November 19 against the Black Stars. The last straw that might have broken the camel�s back is latest development in Cairo where fifty people were killed after clashes between security forces and supporters of deposed President Mohammed Morsi. The Ghana FA concluded by saying it wants Fifa to move the match to a neutral ground.
