The running mate to the 2012 New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has visited Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, former Presidential Press Secretary and Spokesperson to President John Agyekum Kufuor to console him over the loss of his mother, Mrs. Margaret Agyepong.
Mrs Agyepong died in London after a short illness on Friday, 27 September, 2013.
Dr Bawumia urged the Agyepong family to remain steadfast in the difficult period and prayed for the blessing of the Almighty on the departed soul.
The one-week celebration and family gathering for the late Mrs. Margaret Agyepong will take place on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Asokore-Mampong, near Kumasi Airport.
The final funeral rites will be announced in due course.
