Appiah Confident Of Result

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah is confident his charges could grind a decent result when the Black Stars face the Pharaohs of Egypt in the final phase of the FIFA World Cup qualifier in Kumasi on Tuesday. Appiah told GNA Sports all the team required ahead of the duel slated for the Baba Yara Stadium will be good preparations. I do not believe that the players are incapable of achieving this target of getting a decent result. I have never relied on any particular player so I am not worried about any injuries presently. As a coach, you should have quality substitutes for replacement and we have made provisions for that. He assured We have got a good team and the most important thing is to be poised to face any opponent that comes our way. Appiah is likely to be without Shalker 04 midfielder, Kevin Prince Boateng who is said to be nursing a troubled knee as well as injured regulars John Boye, Jonathan Mensah, Mohammed Rabiu and Harrison Afful who is on a suspension. Ghana is attempting a third appearance at the World Cup after Germany 2006 and South Africa 2010 and a win over the seven times African champions could help their course ahead of the second leg next month.
