GNPC Expresses Confidence In Black Stars

The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), has expressed confidence in the ability of the Black Stars, to defeat the Pharaohs of Egypt in their march towards World Cup 2014, on Tuesday October 15, in Kumasi. �You have been a dependable partner on this journey. GNPC believes in your ability to rise above this last hurdle towards World Cup 2014,� Alex Mould, Acting Chief Executive of GNPC, stated. He said the Black Stars had come to represent a potent symbol of national unity and cohesion; and that was why all Ghanaians shed off their religious, tribal, or political affiliations to rally behind the team as one people. This was in a statement signed by Mr Eric Pwadura, Acting Head of Corporate Affairs at the GNPC and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Tuesday. To the players, Alex Mould said: �GNPC believes in your ability to lift high the flag of Ghana, to sustain that which unites us as one people.
