MTN Hitmaker Hits All Men Finale

With Kukere crooner Iyanya billed to headline the grand finale of the MTN Hitmaker, the last four standing men Koo Ntakara, K Bee, Kofi Korea and Cano Z are preparing feverishly to clinch the grand prize of a GH100,000 album recording, distributing and marketing deal. The final event, scheduled for the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Friday October 25, will be a cracker since all four men have their unique ways of charming the crowd and judges. No one can determine what Cano-Z has in store for the audience; while Koo Ntakra can be unpredictable given how mature he has become over the past 11 weeks. K Bees energy and stagecraft can surprise even the most nonchalant patron, and then there is the diversity and charm of Tema-based Kofi Korea. So fans and lovers of good music must make it a point to be at the final show to see for themselves who will be crowned as the second MTN Hitmaker and take over the mantle from Naterial, who is now enjoying the goodies that come with being a star. There is also a second prize of GH50,000 album recording, distribution and marketing deal. The others will go home with consolation prizes from the telecom giant, MTN. I cant wait for the final event because even with the eviction shows, the contestants have shown class, quality and determination, so the final I believe will be very spectacular, judge Bessa Simons said. Zapp Mallet advised fans of the contestants to never stop voting if they truly want to see their favourite win the prize. Last Sunday's show was another tension-filled affair. The five remaining contestants put in everything they had, but Nana Adobea was the unlucky soul. She and K Bee came up for eviction, but Zapp Mallet and Ofie Kudjoe saved K Bee, signalling the end of the road for the gospel songstress. Fans of the four finalists jubilated into the night. The contestants now have less than two weeks to sharpen their skills to grab the GH100,000 deal at stake on October 25. The other two guest performers confirmed for the final event are Guru and Ohemaa Mercy.
