Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien has set November 8 as the date for his late father�s funeral, Ghanasportsonline.com can exclusively reveal. James Essien passed away on September 2 in his native country after battling illness for months. The late Mr Essien will be buried at his hometown of Agona Odoben in the Central Region on Saturday November 9. The funeral has been slated for the weekend of November 8-10 in Ghana. The Black Stars midfielder had issues with his father in the past over claims he did not take care of his aged father who lived in their home town in Ghana.
