We Were Unsettled By Early Goals - Liberty Coach George Lamptey

Liberty Professionals coach George Lamptey says the two quick goals conceded by his side was the main reason for Wednesdays defeat to Hearts of Oak. The Dansoman-based side were hit with two quick goals within the opening five minutes of their midweek Premier League clash against the title chasing Phobians. A first minute strike by Eric Kumi and a well converted spot kick by Robin Gnagne in the fourth minute was all Hearts needed to wrap up the entire game. Liberty who had gathered two wins going into Wednesdays game had nothing to show in the remaining 85 minutes of regulation and extra time and ended up with nothing. Coach Lamptey in his post-match reactions admitted the two quick goals played its part in their loss to the Phobians. The two quick goals took us out of the game, he said. When you play a tight game you know you are always in the game but those two quick goals were bad from my boys and that was what worried us.
