RACKUS Production Hosts Black Stars

To give moral support to Ghanas own Black Stars prior to the big match against Egypt on Tuesday, 15th October, representatives from RACKUS production journeyed to Kumasi to host the football heros. The intimate entertainment session was held at the Golden Tulip Kumasi City in a conference style setting where artists including Shatta Wale and Cwesi Oteng thrilled players and officials of the team with their popular tunes. The players were very much entertained and happy to join in on the action as Daniel Opare rapped to Cwesi Oteng's song; Michael Essien, Sully Muntari and others engaged in a dancing competition with Shatta Wale. Both artists gave inspirational and motivational messages to the players. Surprisingly, the MC for the show told the group about his dream of a 6-1 victory for the Stars. The purpose of the hour-long session was to help ease the tension and bring enjoyment to the team before the anticipated match against Egypt, which Ghana was victorious. The program was a collaborative effort between RACKUS production and W consult. RACKUS production believes this small gesture was a contributory factor to the excellent performance displayed by the Black Stars during the first leg of the playoffs against Egypt. The second leg of the 2014 FIFA World Cup playoffs between Ghana and Egypt is scheduled to take on the Egyptian turf in November 2013. This match will determine whether or not the Black Stars will play in the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil.
