Nunoo-Mensah Spoke The Mind Of Prez Mahama

Former NPP Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency Chairman, Michael Omari Wadie, asserts National Security Advisor, Brigadier General Nunoo Mensah, spoke the mind of the president when he made his infamous pick your passport and get out of the country comment. Brigadier General Nunoo Mensah, during the commissioning of nine unit classroom block for OReilly Senior High School, exploded over labor unions resort to strikes as the only means to seek for their salary redress. A day after that controversial speech, President John Dramani Mahama, at a Thanksgiving Service in his honor held at the Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Accra, declared Ghana will soon become a better place if Ghanaians stop complaining and work together to achieve that. Based on the Presidents remarks, and the fact that he did not use the Thanksgiving platform to reprimand his National Security Advisor for his attack on striking workers, Omari Wadie concluded on Okay fm that the former army officer was speaking the mind of the President. ..President Mahama supports the comments of Brigadier General Nunoo Mensah because as a mark of support he said that Ghanaians like complaining. The President has set up a complaint office where all grievances will be sent to because he does not want to be disturbed with our complaints, he said. Mr Wadie, who is aspiring for the position of National First Vice-Chairman, posited that since Nunoo-Mensah is part of President Mahamas cabinet, it is safe to conclude that he (President Mahama) supports the comment made by his cabinet member and advisor on security affairs. .many Ghanaians cannot afford the cost involved in seeking to travel outside unless the comment seems to suggest to Ghanaians to go back again to Nigeria, Togo and Abidjan as it happened during the days of military rule, he said.
