British Airways (BA) has announced the appointment of Mr Moran Birger as the new Commercial Manager for its Ghana operations. The British national assumed his role on October 15, taking over from James Wooldridge, who is now heading BA�s winter operations at its hub, Heathrow Airport. Mr. Birger, a graduate of Business and Politics from the University of Manchester, would oversee BA's business in Ghana, which has been a key market for the airline for over 75 years. A statement issued by Leroy Ankrah, a Communications Consultant and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Thursday noted that during Mr Birger's two years with BA, he worked in a number of roles with the Community Investment, Revenue Management and Operational teams of the company.
