Some Leading NDC Members Yearn To See The Party In Opposition

A member of the Communication Machinery of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) believes the comments about President Mahamas administration by the former Minority and Majority Leader, Alban Bagbin, clearly shows he would love to see the ruling party in opposition. Hon Bagbin, courted controversy when he openly expressed his disappointment with the leadership of President Mahama. According to the NDC stalwart, he is not enthused about the way President Mahama is leading Ghana. Personally I like him [President Mahama] but I am not enthused at all about the way he is leading us Mr. Bagbin added that President Mahama has failed to fight the rot and corruption in the country. I have been part of the global fight against corruption, right up from the first parliament and so I have been part of that crusade in this country and so I expected that on the assumption of power, His Excellency President Mahama will have been employing those instruments to fight corruption But responding to Alban Bagbins statement on Okay Fm, Bernard Anim Piesie averred on Ghana Decides program that the former Majority Leader of Parliament should have considered his position in Mahamas administration as one of the 3 wise men to address his ideas internally and not in public. Addressing the issue of corruption raised by Hon. Alban Bagbin, the NDC communicator hinted that the way to deal with corruption in the country is to allow the investigative bodies to handle it and then process it to court and not any other way the NDC MP wants to suggest to President Mahama. I have already said that where he said this was not good and this makes me know that some NDC leaders have begun to love being in opposition and want to see the party there (out of government)because the way they are talking about the party is giving weapon to the opposition party to use against the incumbent NDC, he posited.
